Privacy Notice
This is a working translation. The Spanish version is the legally binding text.
Dr. Abigail Madrigal Gutiérrez is committed to the proper handling of your personal data. Your information will be processed and safeguarded under the principles of lawfulness, quality, consent, information, purpose, loyalty, proportionality and accountability set out in Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulations.
Data controller and address
The party responsible for processing your personal data is Dr. Abigail Madrigal Gutiérrez, whose address for the purposes of this notice is Christus Muguerza Sur, Consultorio 516, Carretera Nacional 6501, La Estanzuela, Monterrey, N.L.
Personal data we process
Through this website we collect the data you provide in the interested-party registration form: name, email and phone number. This data is not sensitive. In addition, the tools described in the "Cookies and measurement technologies" section collect browsing data — pages visited, device type, country and visit source — anonymously in the case of Umami Cloud, and through cookies in the case of Google Analytics 4, which is only enabled with your consent. Clinical and health data collected in the medical history and during consultations is handled separately, directly at the clinic, and not through this website.
Purposes of processing
We request your consent through this Privacy Notice to use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To provide the clinical nutrition and medical services you have entrusted to us and to identify you as a patient.
- To contact you and send you relevant information on health topics or measures to improve it.
- To send you information and promotions about the services of Dr. Abigail Madrigal Gutiérrez, subject to your acceptance of this notice.
Consent for information and promotions
Sending information and promotions requires your express consent. By checking the box "I have read and accept the Privacy Notice" in the registration form, you grant that consent. You may withdraw it at any time through the means indicated below, without affecting your medical care.
Storage processor
The data you submit through the registration form is stored using Google services (Google Sheets and Google Apps Script), which act as processor on behalf of the controller, solely to safeguard and organize that information.
Security measures
Your personal data will be safeguarded under strict administrative, technical and physical security measures, implemented to protect it against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized use, access or processing.
How to limit use and exercise your ARCO rights
You may limit the use or disclosure of your data, opt out of receiving information and promotions, and exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition (ARCO) by sending your request via WhatsApp to +52 81 8116 8167 or by email to dra.abigailmadrigal@gmail.com.
Transfers
Your identifiable personal data will not be transferred to third parties other than the controller, except for the storage processor mentioned above (Google) and the cases provided for by law. The browsing data described in the "Cookies and measurement technologies" section is transferred to third parties: to Umami Cloud, anonymously and without cookies, and to Google, through Google Analytics 4, only if you accept it. No transfers are made to third parties for commercial purposes.
Changes to this notice
This Privacy Notice may be amended due to legal changes or changes in our practices. Any change will be published on this same page, so we recommend reviewing it periodically.
Cookies and measurement technologies
This website uses two measurement tools. Umami Cloud works without cookies and anonymously: it does not identify any visitor, it is always active, and browsing data is transferred to that provider, acting as a third party, and retained for 6 months. Google Analytics 4 does use cookies (_ga and _ga_<identifier>) and is only enabled if you accept it; the data is transferred to Google and retained for 14 months.
- Purpose of the Google Analytics 4 cookies: to distinguish visits and measure which pages and sections are consulted, in order to improve the site's content. They are not used to personalize advertising: the advertising personalization signal is always sent as denied.
- How to disable them: open "Cookie preferences" in this site's footer and choose "Reject". Your decision is stored in this browser and stops cookie-based measurement from that moment on.
- If you do not respond, no measurement cookie is enabled: the absence of a response is treated as a rejection.
